The Bletchley Institute is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Bletchley Awards. These awards recognize young professionals, ages 18 to 38, who demonstrate exemplary promise as future leaders in tech and are committed to the Bletchley Responsible Innovation Goals.
Nominations must be submitted by Thursday, Aug. 21. Winners will be announced during an award ceremony on Tuesday, Sep. 2.
Nominee's must be between the ages of 18 and 38 and demonstrate commitment to at least one of the Bletchley Responsible Innovation Goals.
The ten Bletchley Responsible Innovation Goals which a young leader can be nominated for are as follows:
Empower Meaningful Work: Ensure that emerging technologies create new opportunities for purposeful, fulfilling work while supporting economic mobility and human dignity.
Expand Equitable Access: Broaden access to transformative technologies and the education needed to use them, so people and communities everywhere can participate in the future being built.
Reinvent Learning for a Changing World: Leverage artificial intelligence to make education more personalized, effective, and widely accessible, giving more people the skills they need to succeed in the age of intelligent systems.
Design for Humanity: Develop technologies that prioritize individual agency, emotional well-being, and alignment with human values across cultures and contexts.
Build Transparent & Accountable Systems: Build technologies that can be explained, audited, and governed with clear responsibility, so that trust is earned and maintained across society.
Advance Sustainable Development: Accelerate clean energy innovation and use advanced computing and artificial intelligence to model, monitor, and support the responsible use of the planet’s resources.
Accelerate Human Health & Well-Being: Use innovation to improve diagnostics, treatment, and health systems while expanding access to care and advancing public health around the world.
Strengthen Democratic Governance: Support policies, tools, and institutions that ensure advanced technologies are developed and deployed with transparency, public accountability, and civic participation.
Preserve & Enrich Human Culture: Expand global access to the stories, art, and knowledge that define who we are by responsibly training artificial intelligence to protect creative expression and preserve cultural heritage.
Prepare Society for Disruption: Equip individuals, institutions, and governments to navigate rapid technological change by fostering adaptability, foresight, and resilience across every level of society.
